If it doesn't say Meyers, it's not a Manx!
A new Berrien frame, why not an original Beetle frame?
It is almost impossible today to find a rust free Beetle floor pan (frame). They are over 40 years old and plagued with problems. When shortened 14 1/4" to fit a buggy, they are seldom straight, level and square, which makes them impossible to get the wheels aligned. Welding done for shortening is usually poor quality. Most for sale buggies never show the underside floor or its condition, nor can they go over 50mph without violently shaking or be stable on the road at highway speed.
Berrien is the only way to go!
