I restore, rebuild and refinish Dune Buggies from the ground up. Each Manx is completely disassembled, and everything is checked, rebuilt or replaced and refurbished to function and look new again.
They are painted in Metal Flake, not metallic. They will look just like they did when originally made. Metal flake is unlike the paint used on today's vehicles. In the sun, the flakes glisten like you've never seen. A friend calls it "Bling Extreme"
I update my Dune Buggies with items from today's vehicles for your safety and convenience. A tilt and locking steering column is installed and wired to have things like a horn center cap that works, turn signals that shut off after a turn, 4way emergency flashers, wiper controls on the turn signal lever along with hi and low beam actuation, an under dash interior lamp and all new wiring with a fuse box and relays.
I also re-engineer the wiper assembly. The wiper blades now rest to the passenger side, horizontally at the bottom of the windshield. Instead of the drivers side, half way up, and in your line of vision. They have a fast and slow speed. When turned off they always stop at the bottom of the windshield.
